Hello, my name is Eileen! I am an intern counsellor at the HealthMind Clinic, currently completing my Master of Counselling at City University. I believe every individual holds a unique story and the innate ability to grow and heal. I view counselling as a collaborative journey, where I meet you exactly where you are, walking alongside you and seeing the world through your lens. Above all, I’m here to get to know and honour the raw, authentic, and deserving person that you are.

With many years of experience in the education field, I have worked closely with neurodivergent children and adolescents with learning disabilities. This role has been deeply fulfilling and has highlighted the significant impact of mental health on students’ lives, inspiring me to pursue a career in counselling to support a broader range of individuals.

As a counsellor, my goal is to foster a safe and genuine therapeutic relationship where we can explore life’s challenges together. I strive to understand how your unique life experiences, cultural context, and upbringing shape your story. I am committed to fostering an environment where you feel seen, valued, and empowered on your journey towards fulfilling your goals. I am especially drawn to working with individuals navigating challenges related to anxiety, life transitions, interpersonal relationships, and self-esteem. As a Taiwanese Canadian, I am fluent in English and Mandarin and am familiar with the cross-cultural challenges often experienced by individuals and families with a Chinese background. My integrative, person-centered approach incorporates Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

I look forward to hearing your story and supporting you on your journey!

Hi, I’m Sierra (she/her)! I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC 20660) passionate about helping individuals reclaim their sense of agency, empowerment, and well-being. I bring warmth, non-judgment, and humour to my work, collaboratively creating a space of care that welcomes all parts of you.

My counselling style is holistic, recognizing the interconnectedness of emotional, physical, and mental health. With a background as a Pilates and movement instructor, I have a deep appreciation for the mind-body connection and its role in healing. I’m always mindful of how our physical bodies can be sites of both struggle and growth.

I take a compassionate, eclectic approach that supports you in challenging unwanted patterns, exploring different parts of yourself, and processing emotions and experiences. I strive to practice from a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive framework and remain curious about how social, cultural, and systemic factors shape clients’ experiences.

I have specialized experience counselling clients with eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image issues. Additionally, I’ve worked with Pain B.C., coaching individuals in managing chronic pain. While I support clients through a wide range of life challenges, some specific areas of focus include personal growth, life transitions, anxiety, self-worth, body image, identity exploration, eating disorders, disordered eating, chronic pain, and chronic or invisible illness.

I hold a master’s degree in counselling from City University of Seattle and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Gender Studies. I look forward to connecting with you!
