Hello, my name is Eileen! I am an intern counsellor at the HealthMind Clinic, currently completing my Master of Counselling at City University. I believe every individual holds a unique story and the innate ability to grow and heal. I view counselling as a collaborative journey, where I meet you exactly where you are, walking alongside you and seeing the world through your lens. Above all, I’m here to get to know and honour the raw, authentic, and deserving person that you are.
With many years of experience in the education field, I have worked closely with neurodivergent children and adolescents with learning disabilities. This role has been deeply fulfilling and has highlighted the significant impact of mental health on students’ lives, inspiring me to pursue a career in counselling to support a broader range of individuals.
As a counsellor, my goal is to foster a safe and genuine therapeutic relationship where we can explore life’s challenges together. I strive to understand how your unique life experiences, cultural context, and upbringing shape your story. I am committed to fostering an environment where you feel seen, valued, and empowered on your journey towards fulfilling your goals. I am especially drawn to working with individuals navigating challenges related to anxiety, life transitions, interpersonal relationships, and self-esteem. As a Taiwanese Canadian, I am fluent in English and Mandarin and am familiar with the cross-cultural challenges often experienced by individuals and families with a Chinese background. My integrative, person-centered approach incorporates Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
I look forward to hearing your story and supporting you on your journey!

**Sorry, but I am unable to take on new clients right now. If you are a regular client, please contact to book: claudia@healthmind.ca
Hello! I’m Claudia (she/her), an intern counsellor at the HealthMind Clinic and a Master of Counselling student at City University in Canada.
A good friend once shared the quote that “life is a beautiful struggle” and therapy, to me, is a place to make sense of that truth. I aim to offer a grounded and open space to work through the challenging, the unknown, and the meaningful parts of life, while also tapping into the inner resources you already possess. I will be honest with you without sacrificing tenderness, and explore your story with genuine curiousity and respect.
Clients tell me that I have a calming presence and that I ask thoughtful questions. They also share that they feel welcome as they are and appreciate that I can hold hope when they may not feel it themselves. I am attentive, non-judgmental, and will not be afraid to journey into uncomfortable or messy places with you.
My approach is relational, collaborative, and trauma-informed, with the therapeutic relationship at the centre of the work. I also integrate Attachment Theory, parts work, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution-Focused approaches. With couples, I work with both Gottman and EFT interventions.
I work with clients ages 12 and up and welcome and celebrate people from diverse backgrounds. I am particularly interested in working with individuals and couples navigating life transitions, grief & loss, interpersonal relationships, identity, parenting, and those inevitable “what am I even doing with my life?” moments.
If you have further questions or may need a different time slot that is not currently offered, feel free to send an e-mail my way: claudia@healthmind.ca
Thanks for being here. I look forward to meeting you!

Keith Yeung M.C. Cand.
Hello there! I’m Keith, an intern counsellor at the HealthMind Clinic and a Master of Counselling student at City University. I believe that as humans, we are natural storytellers and that everyone deserves to have their story told. Life gets heavy sometimes, and in our fast-paced, demanding world, it can be tempting to just push it all down and carry on. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can truly slow down and process your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace.
I take a relational and humanistic approach to counselling, and firmly believe that effective therapy is fundamental based on genuine human connection. When a person feels truly seen, understood, and accepted, then meaningful change becomes possible. I strive to gain a holistic understanding of who you are as a person based on your unique intersection of identities, backgrounds, and lived experiences, and will work with you towards a preferred future that is in line with your values. In practice I incorporate Existential Therapy and Narrative Therapy, as well as Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
I work with clients ages 15 and up and am especially drawn to working with individuals navigating challenges around identity, meaning-making, life transitions, anxiety, and self-esteem. As a Hong Kong Canadian, I am fluent in English and conversational in Cantonese, and will do my best to communicate in your preferred language of the two.
I look forward to co-creating something meaningful together with you.
